Before commencing, Latin matrimony, the church is mandated to find out any objections to the marriage from society. This is a testing time for Catholic grooms, brides, and their families. Usually, the church calls for any opposition to the Latin matrimony, on three consecutive Sundays, after which the family of Latin grooms & brides and their families are intimated.
